Michael Wood

Michael was born on October 8, 1951 and passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Michael was a resident of Nevada, Missouri at the time of passing.

Michael graduated from Walker High School. He attended Southwest Missouri State University, where he received bachelors and masters degrees.

He joined the United States Navy, and served aboard the USS Flying Fish.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the American Legion in Nevada, MO. A private committal service will be held at the National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, KS, at a later date.
