Cezar "Rudy" S. Malonzo
Qualified in submarines on the USS Lafayette (SSBN-616) in 1969 and was a MS1(SS) when he retired from the Navy.
Cezar "Rudy" S. Malonzo, 78, passed away on June 25, 2017, in his home.
Born in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines, he was a retired U.S. Navy Submariner and a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, where he served over 40 years as Usher, Knights of Columbus, Grand Knight of Kempsville Council #10515 from 1994 - 1995, Father Michael J. McGiveney Assembly #2588 4th Degree, Fil-Am Cag, Pampango Lang. Club, Salinas Families of Tidewater, Cavite City Association and worked in real estate for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by seven siblings, Cresencia, Maura, Guadalupe, Diovides, Tony, Mina, and Olivia. Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Mila Malonzoson, MSgt Jerrel Malonzo and wife, Michelle, of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Jay Malonzo; granddaughter, Joy Malonzo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
